Dr Bibhuti Bhushan passed his MBBS from RIMS Ranchi and then finished his MS from the prestigious Regional Institute of Ophthalmology (RIO,JNMC, AMU,Aligarh). He then went for a long term fellowship in Vitreo-Retinal diseases at the world famous Sankara Nethralaya,Chennai. Dr Bibhuti worked as a senior resident at the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, IGIMS, Patna where he honed his acquired skills for three years. After finishing his residency, he decided to start his own practice at Patna, Bihar by establishing "Vishnu Netralaya" in November 2002. After a successful 3 years of service at Patna he decided to shift the whole establishment to the steel city of Jamshedpur in the neighbouring state of Jharkhand in 2005.

Dr Bibhuti Bhushan has an experience of more than 27 Years during which he successfully operated upon more than 50,000 patients. He has great expertise in Cataract & Refractive surgeries, Retinal diseases and Glaucoma management.

Dr. Bibhuti Bhushan also takes deep interest in the latest Scientific Research in his field and in spreading Technical knowhow among Peers and Junior Ophthalmologists. He was the President of Jamshedpur Ophthalmological Society until 2023.He also served the Jharkhand Ophthalmological Society (JHOS) as Honorary Secretary, Chief Editor Journal and is presently holding the post of Treasurer.

Dr. Bibhuti is a Fellow of International Council of Ophthalmologists and has presented Scientific Papers in various national and International conferences and seminars.
