Dr. Ankur Bose did his MBBS from the prestigious JNMC, Aligarh Muslim University, and later did his Post graduation and specialization in Ophthalmology from the prestigious Regional Institute of Ophthalmology (RIO,JNMC, AMU,Aligarh). He underwent an Intensive IOL fellowship in the renowned Venu Eye Institute at New Delhi. He also took training from the world famous Aravind Eye Hospital at Madurai.

Dr Ankur Bose has an extensive work experience of 15 years at Premiere Institutes of India such as Max Super Speciality Hospital- New Delhi, Dr. Shroff's Charity Eye Hospital, Daryaganj, Delhi, Sri Sai Lions Netralaya, Patna and Purnima Netralaya, Jamshedpur where he was heading the Community Ophthalmology unit and was the main surgeon for Ayushman Bharat scheme and all the other community outreach programmes. He is now a part of Vishnu Netralaya team since the last few years.

Dr. Ankur is an experienced Anterior Segment Surgeon and has performed more than 40,000 Cataract surgeries. He is also an expert in the specialities of Glaucoma & Medical Retina.

Dr. Ankur is an expert in Community Ophthalmology and was a finalist in Global Social Venture Competition, held at Hass School of Business, Berkley, California where he presented his affordable and accessible Eye Care Model.
